How Parish Insurance Agency collects, uses and protects your information — and how to tell us to stop.
Effective date: January 1, 2026
Last updated: 2026
1. Who this covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Parish Insurance Agency ("Parish Insurance Agency," "we," "us" or "our") handles information collected through this website, our forms, our phone lines and our email. It applies to prospective clients, clients and website visitors. It does not govern the privacy practices of the insurance carriers, premium finance companies, or other third parties whose own policies apply to information you provide directly to them.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact information — name, mailing address, email address and telephone number.
- Quote and underwriting information — details about the property, vehicles, business operations, revenue, payroll, employee counts, prior insurance, claims history and similar information needed to obtain quotes.
- Communications — messages you send us, notes from phone calls and meetings, and documents you provide such as declarations pages or loss runs.
- Consent records — whether you checked a consent box, and the date, time and page on which you did.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location derived from IP.
- Advertising and attribution parameters — where present in the link you arrived on, such as
utm_source,utm_campaignor Google click identifiers (gclid). We use these to understand which campaigns produce inquiries.
Information from third parties
To quote and service insurance, carriers and their vendors may obtain consumer reports, motor vehicle records, loss history reports (such as CLUE), property inspection reports and insurance scores. That information is obtained and used by the carrier under its own authority and privacy notices, and may be shared with us in connection with your quote or policy.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the quotes, coverage or service you requested.
- To submit applications to insurance carriers and administer policies, endorsements, certificates, billing and claims support.
- To contact you by phone, text or email in accordance with the consent you provided.
- To send agency updates and coverage reminders, if you separately opted in to marketing email.
- To operate, secure and improve our website, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- To comply with legal, regulatory, licensing and recordkeeping obligations applicable to insurance agencies.
4. When we share it
We share personal information only as needed to do the work you've asked us to do, or as required by law:
- Insurance carriers, wholesalers and general agents — to obtain quotes, bind coverage and service policies.
- Service providers — agency management systems, customer relationship management platforms, email and telephony providers, and IT vendors, each acting on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Premium finance companies, mortgage servicers and lienholders — where relevant to your policy.
- Professional advisors and regulators — including in response to lawful requests, subpoenas, audits or examinations, or to establish or defend legal claims.
- A successor entity — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of agency assets, subject to this policy.
5. We do not sell your data
Parish Insurance Agency does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We do not sell or transfer leads submitted through this website to lead aggregators or unrelated agencies.
6. Calls, texts and email
When you check the consent box on one of our forms, you authorize Parish Insurance Agency and its licensed agents to contact you at the number and email address you provided — including by telephone call, text/SMS message and email, and including with an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice — regarding insurance products, quotes and services.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can obtain a quote or buy a policy without agreeing to automated calls or texts by calling us directly at 727-290-4747.
Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. To be removed from calls or email, contact us at 727-290-4747 or info@parishinsuranceagency.com. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Note that even after you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you about an active policy, a pending quote you requested, a claim, or a legally required notice.
Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
7. Cookies and advertising
This site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics and advertising measurement — including services such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. These tools may set cookies that help us understand how visitors find and use the site and whether an advertisement led to an inquiry.
Enhanced conversions. When you submit a form and have consented to advertising cookies, our conversion tracking may transmit an irreversible cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of the email address and phone number you provided to Google, so that Google can match your inquiry to the advertisement you clicked. The values are hashed in your browser before transmission and the underlying email address and phone number are not sent. Nothing is transmitted if you decline advertising cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie choices link in the site footer. This measurement use does not permit Google to market to you on its own behalf.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common standard for them has been adopted.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to our legal, regulatory and recordkeeping obligations as a licensed insurance agency.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 13. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some information must be retained to comply with insurance regulations even if you ask us to delete it.
9. Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive identifiers — such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers or full financial account numbers — through website forms or unencrypted email. Call the office and we'll arrange a secure method.
10. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services, and thereafter for the periods required by applicable insurance regulations, statutes of limitation, and our legitimate business and recordkeeping needs.
11. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be highlighted where practical. Your continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
